Great. After a long wait. Sitting, waiting, wishing for this movie to be shown on local theaters. The time has come and without any more time wasted, we watched Dear John.

Maybe that is the reason why this film was release a lot later than Avatar here in Cebu. Well, we never know and I am not interested of knowing why.
Well, I never waited actually. Only my friend Chanie. She read about this book way back I don’t know. So after a long journey of waiting, here yeah!
This movie is based on the book by Nicholas Sparks. Author of the great novels of love stories of different genre: The Notebook, Message in the Bottle and A Walk to Remember. I call it a melancholic works of art. Why? His novels are a bit sad love stories. Like if the characters does not have amnesia, then they die with cancer. It is so damn sad, right? Well good thing this movie ends happily. The screenplay was done by Jamie Linden.
A film by Lasse Hallstrom. Starring Channing Tatum as John Tyree and Amanda Seyfried as Savannah Curtis. Just watch the movie for the details of the story.
I rate this movie above average. It gave me a good end. .;p
